While most Android phones running OS 4.4 KitKat and some android phones running OS 5.1 lollipop can actually be rooted using earlier versions of kingroot app, most phones running 5.1 lollipop cannot be rooted using the app.
In most cases, in other to root these type of stubborn phones running android 5.1 lollipop, one would have to use a recovery like TWRP which during the rooting process, requires using SP flash tool and of course, a computer is required.

The steps isn’t exactly different from the steps contained in other tutorials that requires using the app which we have often talked about on this blog. Just install, launch and follow the on-screen instruction. During the process, if the phone reboots, don’t panic, your phone is safe.
